A New Turn
Hello, you few readers who have been following my sporadic posting!
I have news for you.
BIG NEWS.
(Okay, so it's not that big, but I just wanted to keep you on your toes.)
After much thinking, planning, doubting, scouting, and pondering, I've decided to go in a different direction with this blog. Well, let's be honest here, there was no direction with this blog, which is kind of how my brain works. Here, there, everywhere.
Anyways, last month I started Before Five In A Row home school curriculum with my four-year-old, and I'm enjoying to so much, I want to share my journey with you. Mostly because I'm taking a few things from the book, but mostly I'm winging it and making it into a program that will challenge, excite, and exactly fit my little Sheriff.
On top of that, I'm trying to go back to how things used to be... before I was even born. I'm storing food for winter, using fresh food instead of boxed and canned, making dinner the hard, old-fashioned way instead of instant. I'm going to share some recipes and other stuff I'm doing.
So in summery, this will be a blog of homeschooling and homesteading.
It's not a hippie movement or conspiracy theory living. It's me trying to be the best wife and mother and woman I can be, how I feel God is leading me to be. It's not a calling for everyone, but it's not everyone's blog, now is it?
So join very soon for our first adventure in BFIAR (Before Five In A Row) and maybe a tasty recipe.
